Terms, privacy and cookies

5SOLO is an independent web service available at www.5solo.com. In this document, “5SOLO”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to the operator of the 5SOLO service.

The current service provides informational tools for calculating work time, hourly cost, discounts, a tax percentage and an estimated total, with printing and summary sharing.

5SOLO is not accounting, tax-invoicing, payment, document-storage or electronic-signature software. Output is a draft estimate, not an invoice, contract, tax document or guarantee of payment unless separately agreed by the relevant parties.

You may use the service if you can lawfully enter the relevant agreement. If acting for an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind it.

The service is not directed to children under 16. Do not process children's data without a proper legal basis and required guardian consent.

You must verify inputs, formulas, rounding, currency, rate, discount, tax and total before relying on or sending any output.

You are responsible for having a lawful basis for names, project descriptions and other information you enter, save, print or share. Do not enter passwords, payment details, government identifiers, health data, special-category data or trade secrets.

• Do not use the service for fraud or infringement.
• Do not disrupt or probe the site's security.
• Do not present output as certified professional advice.
• Keep your own copies of business-critical documents.

Information and calculations are general information only. 5SOLO does not provide legal, tax, accounting, financial, employment or other professional services.

Rules differ by country and circumstances. Consult a qualified professional where an error could affect rights, tax, income or obligations.

The free service may change, be limited or stop without prior notice. We do not promise uninterrupted availability, continued features, universal browser compatibility or permanent local storage.

The service and these terms may be updated. Continued use after publication accepts the revision where permitted by law.

The design, code, text, logo and materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property law. You receive a limited, revocable, non-exclusive right to use the site as intended.

You retain rights in your data and may use your calculations and PDFs. You may not impersonate 5SOLO, bypass restrictions or mass-extract protected material without permission.

The site uses or links to Vercel, Google Tag Manager and Analytics, Ko-fi, WhatsApp, Telegram and email applications. Their own terms and policies apply.

Following a link and sending information is your choice. 5SOLO does not control a third party's availability, security, accessibility, content, data collection or payment processing.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without express or implied warranties of accuracy, completeness, fitness, merchantability, error-free operation, security or non-infringement.

Examples and output may contain errors or be unsuitable for your jurisdiction. Independent verification is required.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, 5SOLO and its contributors are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive or consequential loss, or loss of profit, clients, data, reputation or opportunity.

If liability is established, aggregate liability is limited to the greater of the amount paid for the service in the preceding 12 months or USD 50. This does not limit liability that applicable law prohibits us from excluding or limiting.

Where law permits, you will reimburse reasonable losses, expenses and third-party claims caused directly by your unlawful use, breach of these terms or infringement of another person's rights.

This does not remove mandatory consumer rights or make you responsible for 5SOLO's own conduct.

Calculator fields are processed in your browser and drafts are saved in localStorage. They are not designed to be sent to 5SOLO. We do not currently operate user accounts or ask for payment details.

Hosting and security systems may process IP address, request time, URL, browser, device, approximate location, referrer and logs. With analytics consent, Google may process page, event, device and approximate-location data.

If you email us, we process your address, message and technical details needed to respond.

Technical data is used to deliver and secure the service, diagnose faults and prevent abuse, based on providing the requested service and legitimate security interests. Optional analytics relies on consent and can be withdrawn.

Recipients may include Vercel and Google; if you choose to leave the site, Ko-fi, WhatsApp, Telegram or your email provider. They may process data internationally under their own transfer safeguards.

Local drafts remain until site data is cleared; session currency lasts for the session; language may last one year; analytics choice lasts up to six months. Provider logs and analytics follow provider settings and policies.

Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, objection or withdrawal of consent by emailing taskcostcalculator@proton.me. Reasonable identity verification may be required, and we cannot provide data we do not hold.

Most calculator data exists only on your device and can be erased through browser site-data controls. Analytics consent can be changed through Cookie settings. You may complain to your local data-protection authority.

5SOLO does not sell personal information for money or use calculator inputs for legally significant automated decisions.

The necessary locale cookie remembers language for up to one year. localStorage keeps calculator drafts and accessibility settings; sessionStorage keeps a manual currency choice for the session.

Google Tag Manager and Analytics are optional measurement. Analytics storage is denied by default and granted only after “Allow analytics”. Refusal does not limit the calculator.

Cookie settings can be reopened at any time. Clearing site data removes local drafts and preferences.

We use reasonable measures such as HTTPS, data minimisation and local processing, but no internet service, device or storage method is absolutely secure.

You are responsible for your device, browser, saved PDFs and sharing channels. Clear data after using a public device.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, excluding conflict-of-laws rules. Where law permits, competent courts of Tel Aviv–Jaffa have exclusive jurisdiction.

This does not remove mandatory consumer venue or remedies. Before litigation, the parties should try to resolve a dispute in writing for 30 days where practical.

If a provision is invalid, the remainder continues and the provision applies to the maximum lawful extent. Failure to enforce a right is not a waiver.

Headings are for convenience. Translations aim to preserve the same meaning and mandatory rights. Intellectual-property, liability, governing-law and dispute provisions survive termination.
