Less admin. More clarity.
5SOLO turns everyday calculations into quick, understandable actions. Time and cost estimation is the first of a growing set of focused tools.
Turn working time into a client-ready estimate
5SOLO helps freelancers, consultants and small teams calculate the real duration and price of a project. Add work items, hours, minutes and an hourly rate, then see the subtotal, discount, tax and final total immediately.
Use the working-hours calculator for a completed shift or plan a future project from separate tasks. Your draft stays in the browser, so you can work without registration and decide when to print or share the result.
Live estimate
The working draft is saved in local browser storage on the current device. It is not automatically synchronised with another browser or device.
Professional hour (optional)
Set how many real minutes one billed hour represents. Prices and added work sessions use this unit.
The rate is charged per selected billing hour.
Conventions vary by country, profession and contract. Confirm the duration agreed with your client.

Explain the price
Show discounts, tax and every assumption in one place.
Send a professional document
Add the client and project names before printing. 5SOLO creates a clean A4 estimate that can be saved as PDF, while WhatsApp, Telegram, email and the device share menu provide quick, free ways to send a summary.
How to prepare an estimate clients can understand
A useful estimate does more than show one total. It explains what is included, how time was calculated and where the final price comes from.
Record working hours accurately
Enter the actual start and finish date and time. For overnight work, select the following calendar day. Subtract unpaid breaks, but keep meetings, research and project communication when they are part of the paid work.
Choose a sustainable hourly rate
An hourly rate should cover more than focused delivery time. Consider software, equipment, administration, taxes, holidays and gaps between projects. A realistic rate makes estimates more consistent and protects the quality of your work.
Make the price transparent
Split the project into recognisable tasks and show time and rate for each one. Mark complimentary work separately, display discounts openly and state the currency and tax treatment so the client can review the estimate without guessing.
Send a professional document
Add the client and project names before printing. 5SOLO creates a clean A4 estimate that can be saved as PDF, while WhatsApp, Telegram, email and the device share menu provide quick, free ways to send a summary.
Calculated locally, shared only by you
Estimate drafts are stored in your browser rather than in a 5SOLO account. Google Tag Manager may collect technical measurement data, but the client names, task descriptions and prices you enter are not intentionally sent to 5SOLO servers by the calculator.
Questions about the 5SOLO calculator
Short answers about pricing, overnight work, storage and sharing.
Is the calculator free?
Yes. The current time and cost calculator, PDF printing and sharing options can be used without payment or registration.
How is the project total calculated?
Paid time is divided by the selected billing-hour duration (60 minutes by default) and multiplied by each rate. The calculator then applies the overall discount and adds the selected tax percentage.
Can I calculate a shift that ends after midnight?
Yes. Select the real start date and the following calendar day as the finish date, then enter any unpaid break in minutes.
Where is my estimate saved?
The working draft is saved in local browser storage on the current device. It is not automatically synchronised with another browser or device.
